Yes. Depending on what the variables of the flooring are would determine which technique should be used when resurfacing your flooring.
The time frame for being able to use your new floor depends on what your project details entail. For resurfaced floors you can start using/walking on them right away. As far as freshly installed flooring, it varies.
We stand behind our products and services. All of our services have a warranty, as far as what time frame that warranty covers depends on the type of flooring project you have had completed.
